Prescribed Burn Program at the Hullett Marsh receives funding from the Ontario Trillium Foundation.

The Hullett Prescribed Burn Program

The Friends of Hullett received funding from the Ontario Trillium Foundation in the amount of $130,000 over two years, to facilitate the implementation of a local prescribed burn program. These funds will help to buy the equipment, training and resources needed for this program, which will be used within the Marsh and the surrounding community.

The Hullett P.W.A. offers programs geared to schools and community groups. We can put together a program that complements your school's curriculum and make the learning fun as well as informative. If your group wants to get back to nature or get out and get some exercise, try our many trails or take a guided tour with a knowledgeable Hullett staff member. Come out and learn about the amazing natural habitat in your own backyard. For those that can't get to us, we can even 'bring the marsh to you' with displays and multimedia presentations for your group to enjoy.
