Annual Hunting Report for the Year 2003

The wetlands at the Hullett Provincial Wildlife Area include pools, ponds, marshes and swamps. These habitats help with duck reproduction. Four common species of ducks are typically harvested, these include Mallard, Blue-winged teal, Green-winged teal, and Wood ducks. Additional species harvested may include Northern Pintail, Gadwall, American Wigeon, Hooded Merganser and others.

The above pie chart describes the stakes in terms of waterfowl hunted in the first day of hunting. In most cases, there are two hunts from each hunting stake on opening day. The pie chart indicates total waterfowl harvested within the top stakes in the Hullett Provincial Wildlife area. In the year 2003, we found 7 top stakes with some having the same ranking as the others. 17 percent in Stake 14 means 17 waterfowl were harvested out of the total of 100 waterfowl harvested within the top stakes. Please click the links below to find full information about the hunting stake, location of hunting stake and access to the hunting stake.
