Welcome to the Hullett Songbirds Page

(back)Birding by ear is an aquired skill that novice and advanced birders need to hone to get proficient at - it takes time.

Birding sites on the internet are getting more and more prevelant as well. The Ontario Field Ornithologist's site (www.ofo.ca) has many links and much information regarding birding in Ontario. The Cornell Laboratory of Ornithology (www.birds.cornell.edu) is another great site for bird watchers. Be sure to check these sites out. Also of note are Field Naturalist groups. In this area we have the Huron Fringe Field Naturalists (hffn.huronstewardship.on.ca) and the McIlwraith Field Naturalists (www.mcilwraith.ca).

Birding at Hullett

We will be attempting to keep our visitors informed of interesting bird sightings at Hullett with this webpage. Unfortunately with the large size of the property, it is difficult to monitor every bird species without help. So we ask all birders and naturalists to submit their reports to us at outreach@hullettmarsh.org - with this information, we'll be able to keep everyone informed of the tremendous abundance and diversity of bird life at Hullett.
